The museum exhibits Catalan painting and sculpture from the 19th century and up until the 1970s, the result of the donation by the painter and collector from Mollet del Vallès, Joan Abelló. The Casa del Pintor displays the enormous art, furniture, glass, painting and porcelain collection that Abelló treasured over the years. Modernisme and Dau al Set take a prominent role.
