The museum is located in the old theatre-casino built for holiday-makers and houses one of the jewels of Catalan modernisme, the Dames de Cerdanyola, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. It contains a singular collection of moderniste, noucentiste and art deco works, highlighting the artists Ismael Smith and Josep de Togores. It incorporates sensory and accessible elements and offers a social perspective on art.
