This museum, located in the city of Lleida, promotes learning on modern and contemporary art with particular focus on art linked to the Ponent region of Catalonia. Its objective is to show the various artistic, historical and social narratives that arise from the set of works that make up its collections. Within these we find artistic creations from the end of the 19th century up to the present day, a period in which the figure of the most important artist that the region has ever produced, Leandre Cristòfol, stands out.
