Since its inauguration in 1934, the Museum of Reus has established itself as a benchmark in the preservation and dissemination of heritage. At its La Llibertat venue, with updated museography, ethnography, art and history come together to tell the story of the city’s golden age in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. As a direct result of this period of prosperity, the city became the birthplace of renowned artists such as Antoni Gaudí, Roseta Mauri and Marià Fortuny.
